What an incredibly close meet!  I am so proud of every swimmer who swam this weekend. We had many best times and Straehle qualifiers!  With our first meet under our belt, just a couple reminders:

• please make sure when we are at meets, you are sitting with the team and not with the opposing team!

• if you sign in and are not going to make it, please contact someone at the meet to let us know. 

• parents, remember during practice to sit on top of the hill. 

I am looking forward to a great week and an exciting meet Saturday!

Updates for the week

• Maple Lawn MEET 6/29: Arrival time is 8:00am. Address is: 7600 Maple Lawn Boulevard Fulton, MD 20759

• The First Hot Dog Wednesday was a HUGE success! Come have lunch with us again on June 26th!

• Fun Friday is June 28! The activity will be a keychain craft! Bring your creativity and a great attitude!

Meet Reminders:

• Dual Meet vs Maple Lawn is June 26. Swimmers must arrive and check in by 8:00 am.

• NO photography/videos behind the blocks- don’t pull your cellphone, watch, etc. out behind the blocks.

• Divisionals: July 27th. You MUST swim in 3 dual meets in order to qualify, and qualification is based on time.

• Please make every effort to wear South Carroll Spirit wear and/or Black and Yellow. We are here to support our summer swim team! 

Team Gear:

• If your swimmer is not wearing the team suit, they must wear the team cap and a black suit.  Caps should arrive by Thursday, June 24. We will announce when they have arrived!

• Picture Day: July 12th

• Senior tribute: July 20th

• Team Party: July 27th

• Fundraising: July 8 Los Aztecas- Be sure to show the flyer (or a picture of it)!

Reminders

• Buy out- $250- We have 3 remaining: email [email protected] if interested.

• Volunteers MUST wear SCST or black and yellow. If we have wardrobe issues, we will buy volunteer pinnies to wear. 

• Code of Conduct must be signed by all swimmers and families.  Swimmers will not be permitted to swim in any meets until it is submitted.

• Volunteer Jobs and Swim Meet commitments are open! You MUST commit by Tuesday at midnight for each meet or your swimmers will not be entered. Directions for committing are in the June 17th bulletin.
